Lori Anne Wagner was born in Flint, Michigan and grew
up in Grand Blanc with her mother, father and her older brother Brett.
|
And she sure was cute. |
Today, Lori Anne Goss lives on the north side of Chicago
in a vintage apartment with her husband Dave, their daughter Maddie and their three cats Nala,
Priddy and Buster. |
And she’s more beautiful than ever. |
Lori has been acting for over twenty years and playing
the flute for even longer. Her prized Yamaha is still with her today,
and it sits in its corner beside the piccolo that Dave gave her for
Christmas last year. Lori is also learning to play her uncle Gary’s
banjo, which sits on its stand across from Macy,
her mahogany Martin guitar. While still in the beginning phase of learning,
she promised her uncle before he died that she would learn to play it,
and that’s exactly what she intends to do. |
Lori is a company member of WNEP
Theater, a board officer and the booking manager of Chemically
Imbalanced Comedy, and one half of the honest, edgy, two-woman sketch
duo Epiphany Purple. She has worked with a number of theater companies
in Chicago. In fact, she and Dave met while doing Fairy
Tales Are Not For Children together at WNEP Theater. Her main passion,
however, is film, and she has acted in several award-winning independent
features. |
Lori is a graduate of the Second
City Conservatory and holds a BFA in Acting from the University
of Michigan. One thing I would really like to mention (and that
Lori specifically asked me to mention) is that she is really, really
smart. She graduated from U of M with honors and a 3.8 GPA. But she’s
as humble as can be. |
More than anything, Lori appreciates the simple things
in life. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time at home with Dave,
her best friend and soulmate, and relax with a cup of coffee and a purring
kitty on her lap. She records the events of her days in her journals,
the many volumes of which line the bookshelves in their living room. |
